                                        About Melanie

Melanie Essary has been a Florida licensed attorney since April, 2003.  She was born and raised in a small suburb southwest of Minneapolis, Minnesota.   She graduated from Minnesota State University at Mankato in 1995 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.  She returned to school and worked full-time and graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 2002 with her Juris Doctor degree.

Shortly after graduating, Melanie relocated to Naples, Florida where she practiced several small firms gaining experience in a wide variety of legal practice areas.  She then decided to open and operate her own title insurance company.  During the financial and housing crisis, she closed the company and made the decision to stay at home with her infant daughter.  Shortly after closing her company, Melanie, her husband and their two daughters moved to Gulf Breeze, Florida to be closer to family and for their excellent public schools.

Shortly after the move, Melanie went back to work for a small law firm in Pensacola, but was not content practicing in the areas someone else decided.  She decide to open her own practice in 2012.

Now, with her own firm, Melanie is free to focus on her passion, helping families.  No matter what the reason you need to hire an attorney it can be an intimidating and scary, but it does not have to be.  Melanie takes the time to get to know each one of her clients.  And with her down to earth manner and casual personality, she strives to ensure that each client is comfortable.  Every matter and every client is own unique and Melanie will take the time to learn your own individual needs.
